Ahh it begins....

Ok this is my blog.....luke's blog.Yes, I shall use it pass on the detailed information of my various adventures and the general goings on of my time in far off lands.

Okay, the low-down.....I am going to Gaza for a couple of months where I will hopefully be teaming up with a couple of organisations who are involved in conflict resolution as well as getting involved with some community development projects and maybe even a bit teaching English to kids.

So as of today, I leave Ireland in about 10 days for England where i will be getting a bit of training and a pat on the back and then it's off to Gaza via Tel Aviv in Mid Feb.
Okay that's alot of writing, in future I promise less writing more pictures.

Later then
Luke

Hey, do blogspots make you nervous? They make me nervous...you think it's a good idea (which I think it is, mostly) but only if you're doing something worth talking about (like going to Gaza) but then, every time I go to put up a post, I'm hit with a twang of "who bloody cares who you are and what you think?"!! But then, as humans, we are fundamentally self-involved and write the thing anyway coz we like talking about ourselves!! (And reading about other people's lives, even if we don't know who they are!)

Looking forward to obsessively seeing how you are!
Will miss you, Jen

You promised less writing and more pictures. You have come through magnificently on the first part of your promise, but have failed miserably on the second...

Ah janey, give him a break!! We only saw him 3 days ago!

You take your time Luke, don't let these people with their silly jokes and rhyming schemes pressure you into anything...

just let this thought be the motivating factor - your mother will be worried that you're dead before even getting to Gaza if you don't write soon!

:)

Luke, hello

Kiera the difference between Gazza and Gaza is that people wonder if there is anything that can be done to sort out Gazza's future, whereas with Gaza, oh wait, thats not right...

Gazza is Paul Gascoigne's nickname. Gaza is an area in the Middle East that is being occupied by Israel.

Back to Luke. Mate, you should do a post on the Tesco spoon thing. Where will it all stop?
